I cannot believe in just a little more than 24 hours BYC13 will be here! I have loved sharing this blog space with Taryn, Lora, Jill and Heather and their girls. Each blog post has been a rich deposit of encouragement, wisdom and inspiration…what a gift to have so many different voices blend together with “one heart, one love and one voice” over the past few months.
We have been praying for each of you and are believing for sweet heaven kissed, God moments for each of you. I feel like Romans 5:1-5 is such a beautiful picture of what the weekend will look like….
“By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.
There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!”
So here’s the deal, Sweetheart…come in “alert expectation” for what God will do next, no matter where you are on your journey and open the door of your heart…. you won’t have enough containers to hold all that God will do at conference! Be sure to arrive early tomorrow to get parking, find a seat and you don’t want to miss the opener that starts at 7:30PM!
Love to all of you…CANNOT WAIT to be with you!
What are you in alert expectancy for?
