The Power of an Invitation

I don’t know about you, but I love getting invitations, especially if it’s something that will enlarge my world a bit.

Living in the Washington DC area, we may spend a bit more time thinking about being invited to the right events that can potentially advance our career, relationships, or influence.   From cocktail and dinner parties to board room meetings, we all know the right invitation has the power to set us up well.

That’s one of the things I love about the Beautiful YOU conference every year.  It’s an invitation to a weekend with the potential to change everything!

It’s an invitation to a heaven touching earth, girls’ weekend filled with lots of God moments, inspiration from my friends Christine Caine and Priscilla Shirer, and lots of laughter along the way.  It’s the perfect place to bring your girlfriends, no matter where they are on their journey.

Every year we hear beautiful stories of girls who brought friends and how their lives have been impacted by the conference. Here are a few:

“Over the past few years I have brought lots of friends who don’t normally attend our church to the BYC and have loved hearing how God has touched each of them in special ways when they came!” Martha

“Last year I bought a U+3 registration even though I wasn’t completely sure when I bought it who I was going to bring.  I ended up posting an invitation on Facebook for anyone that wanted to come.  A friend from college I haven’t talked to in years responded and came as my guest.  It was so exciting to hear how touched she was by the conference after!” Bethany

So girls, before the registration price goes up on March 2 go ahead and “be an invitation” and get a U+3 registration ( buy for 3 of your friends at a deep discounted rate and you go free!)  You don’t even have to know who your bringing yet to do it!

Cannot wait to see you there!
All my love,

Donna xoxo

  1. It really is amazing how buying a U+3 or two in faith pays off. I’ve had clients, Facebook (only) friends respond to my invitations, come to the conference and walk away filled with the love of God and of people. <3
