Invite a Friend, Change a Life (Really!)
Hey girls! I just want to share a quick story about a girlfriend that I invited to Conference last year. My friend, Grace, had come with me to see Beth Moore about a month prior to our BYC14, where she went forward on an invitation from Beth Moore to accept Christ as her Lord and Savior! It was something so special to witness and experience with a close friend! As she began her journey to follow Jesus, God put it on my heart to offer her one of my U+3 tickets that I had purchased earlier in the year.
See, when I purchased the U+3, I had no idea who I was going to invite to come with me to BYC14, but I felt that nudge from God to go ahead and purchase the U+3 anyway and to trust Him to place the right people and appointments in my path in order to offer them a chance to experience a life changing event. Grace was beyond excited and so touched by my invitation!
At Conference, we sat together, experienced amazing moments in worship, and had the opportunity to learn from incredible speakers. It was a wonderful, fun-filled weekend of girl time! Grace walked out of that conference feeling empowered and motivated to live out her God-given purpose. As a new Christian, she felt equipped to conquer her fears and seek Christ for strength through any struggle. Grace and I now attend a small bible study together once a week, and it has been a privilege to be able to come alongside her on her journey thus far!
And get this: Because of Grace’s incredibly life-changing experience at BYC14, she prompted the rest of our bible study girls to purchase tickets to attend BYC15!
I encourage you to consider a U+3 this year for BYC15. Even if you don’t know who you are going to bring, God will place sisters on your heart that have their names written on one of those seats at the Lisner Auditorium. Be brave. Say “Yes” to that little whisper inside of your heart. Trust God wholeheartedly for those three names who have been appointed for such a time as this!
Pssst…Get your U+3 tickets for BYC15 now, as there’s a price hike on Feb. 24, 2015. #BYmovement
